River Bible is a user-friendly Mac OS X application that enables you to read and study 2 popular versions of the Bible: King James Version and the World English Bible. Additionally, the app offers access to Strong’s concordance, but only as an in-app purchase.
The application features a streamlined and elegant user interface where you can browse the Bible by testament, books, chapters and verses in different columns. Moreover, River Bible features a handy search function and a note-taking tool where you can write down your thoughts.
Browsing the Bible contents with River Bible is extremely simple. Just click on a book and its chapters will be listed immediately. Likewise, if you click on a chapter, its contents are quickly displayed. The best part is that you can search through the Bible by words, phrases or whole sentences.
The search results are displayed as you type in a list. Each search result entry includes the book, chapter and verse in which your search query is contained. What’s more, clicking on a search result entry will open the whole chapter and the passage will be highlighted.
